Anissa Blair

In 2018, Anissa Blair hit her early midlife crisis while working at a job she absolutely hated. With only her passion and determination, Anissa immediately resigned from her position as an Executive Assistant at a Fortune 100 company. She began her journey of learning to embrace all of Anissa. From there, she's never looked back. Anissa became a contributing writer for RollingOut, a 25+ year online media outlet with her dedicated page providing weekly articles of relevant news that affect the Black community while also offering uplifting and empowering messages of hope. Additionally, she provided weekly columns for an online site, Beautiful Brown Girls, that offered nuggets of wisdom and motivation to women of color.

Since that life-altering change, Anissa now creates relevant and timeless stories of healing, self-discovery, and self-love – stories that need to be told, and she's here to tell them. Simply put, Anissa is a storyteller who strives to be an impactful voice by encouraging her readers to live life to the fullest, even if it's by their own rules.
