Author L. Mayfield formerly known as Redscorpio, writes and self-publishes fictional stories that are action-packed, suspenseful, fun, relatable, scary and romantic for both open-minded YA and Adults. She was born in Lake county, Illinois and has lived most of her life from Illinois, San Diego, California and currently in Southeastern Wisconsin. She started authoring from reading books of different genres and watching her favorite television shows and movies. During the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic, and being an essential healthcare worker, she developed a passion to fully write and publish her first book to help deal with stress and social distancing. A mother of four sons, grandmother of three, and an aunt of four she enjoys her down time reading and writing.
