Vishnue BKA China the Writer

Author / Publisher

Vishnue was born, raised, and college-educated in Memphis, TN. After graduation, she moved to Atlanta, GA, but it was a chance encounter with an old friend from her hometown that changed her life forever. It was through that connection she discovered she was a writer… a really good one. With this talent in mind, Vishnue started Penhandler’s Ink Self-Publishing Consulting Firm where she serves as the Editor-in-Chief.

In addition to self-publishing 9 books and claiming the #1 spot nationally and internationally several times on the Amazon Kindle Top 100 list, Vishnue never hesitates to use her company’s resources to help in her community. In the fall of 2020, she enlisted the help of five other independent authors to participate in a collaborative writing project (Sista World: Twisted Tales) and donated 100% of the proceeds to the African American Policy Forum (AAPF) in support of the #SAYHERNAME Movement.

When Vishnue is not working to affect change in the world, she is training future authors and developing young minds in her role as a high school English teacher in Atlanta, GA.
