Yes. Right in my own backyard. When Between the Reads started in January of 2020, I just wanted to talk to Black indie (and traditionally) published authors about their books and give them a little more exposure.
I never thought that it would turn into one of my deepest passions. This is year two for the podcast, but it's the third season, and I'm 91 shows in with no plans on stopping.
Between the Reads went from no followers when it started to just over 2,000 followers with 10+ people joining the page each week!
The show expanded its reach this year by beginning a YouTube channel so people can listen/watch there as well. But my little "closet" studio won't allow me to spread my wings and do all the things I want to do for Black authors.
So I have a goal to build my own studio. Read all about it HERE.
It is my sincerest hope that you will visit my campaign on Indiegogo and, if possible, make a contribution. I carefully thought out tiers for every budget, and am looking forward to this goal of mine coming to fruition.
